One Hundred Evening Stories

These are the drawings I did from the beginning of 2021 up to now. Using mostly only black and white acrylic paint, I just painted whatever came to me in the instance when I put down the brush on paper. I consider myself someone furthest away from what people call visual artist, but I had to do these black and white paintings out of the sense of deep loss during this time. As I painted and painted, I have discovered a sense of relief, freedom, as well as the power of imagination and creation. I would like to thank Jon R. who gave me the idea of this project.　

2021年の初めから今まで、白と黒の絵の具だけを使って、自分の中から出てくるものを、白や青の紙に落としていきました。絵を描くのは一番の苦手で、本来なら公開するようなものではないのですが、晒すことで、また何か発見があるかもしれないと思います。今年2024年の五月で１００枚書き終えることができました。こちらに徐々にアップしていきます。
